There are many benefits of LTE Tablets (cellular tablets). Probably the most important benefits are:
- you can access the internet without connecting to wi-fi hotspots
- you can use the GPS almost everywhere
There is no wonder, that LTE talets have become so popular in recent years. We’ve decided to try out as many tablets as we can an write an honest review.

Lets see below which one is the best LTE Tablet.
1) 9.6″ Fusion5 4G Tablet PC – (Android 8.1 Oreo Google Certified, Dual SIM, Dual Band WIFI, 2GB RAM, 32GB Storage, Phone Calling, 8MP and 2MP Cameras, Quad-core CPU, WIFI, FM, GPS)
The Fusion 5 is a 4G cellular tablet, it has 4.1 out of 5 stars with 963 user reviews, it has a 1280 by 800 screen resolution, tablet promises scratch protection and both bright and vibrant images from a variety of viewing angles.
It’s no secret that when it comes to a cellular tablet the most important this is the quality of the image displayed, some of us use them to read, some of us watch movies and others use them for work to draw digitally – no matter what you’re doing with cellular tablets it’s important that they provide you with the best visual experience – especially when watching movies or videos with friends of family the image often changes colour or becomes too dark from different angles – this cellular tablet promises to help lessen the issue.
It comes with dual cameras making it idea for view chats – I can see this making a good present for distant family like grandparents so you can send them a video call sometimes – naturally the camera quality means the cellular tablet is great for taking photos.
The Fusion5 cellular tablet even has built in GPS compatibility making it – as stated on the Amazon page… “decent enough to provide geographic positioning.”.
The cellular tablet is available in two different colours, affectionately names “Android 6.0 marshmallow” and “Android 8.1 oreo”
As a whole, the tablet is allegedly thinner and easier to carry than other similar cellular tablets – like for example it only weighs 500g.
2) Huawei Mediapad T3 8.0 4G 16GB Qualcomm 2048 MB Android, Grey
This cellular tablet got 3.6 stars out of 5, from 10 customer reviews – although I feel I should mention that upon checking the ratings there were a few outliers giving far lower scores than the average user.
The Huawei Mediapad has a simple, black design – in fact at first glance it resembled a large phone, it is a 7 inch tablet 4g LTE, you can find it in one for 3 sizes, that being the 7 inch, 8 inch and 10 inch – each one has some slight differences mostly resolution and some hardware differences, I definitely like the selection – it lets you account for whether you plan to watch movies or just read book – if you travel a lot you may go for the smaller one conversely if you plan to sit down on the couch and watch some Netflix the bigger screen may be for you.
The cellular tablet is available with LTE or WIFI, the tablet offers an extra slim, metal uni-body.

For those of us who look at digital screens a lot you’ll be happy to know that the tablet comes with an eye protection mode – this would make it ideal for people who spend hours reading e-books – there doesn’t seem to be any revolutionary sound tech which is definitely a bit of a disappointment, According to one user in the question section – they use the tablet to watch movies and have to charge it once every 4 to 5 days.
It is important to note that the 7 inch version is only compatible with WIFI and not LTE – the larger sizes can be either WIFI or LTE.
3) Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e LTE SM-T725 64GB Black UK Version
The Samsung Galaxy Tab is a 4G cellular tablet with LTE and WIFI capabilities with a 4.2 out of 5 stars from 38 customer reviews.
The cellular tablet is available in two different sizes, 64GB and 128GB – aside from the size you can also get it in three different colours, black, silver and gold. Lastly you can also choose between LTE and WIFI,
As you can see there is a lot of ways to modify the tablet, personally I’d like a few more colours.
The cellular tablet weighs 400g and is 5.5mm thin – this makes it quite comfortable to carry with you, keep it in your bag and use it anywhere from the bus-stop to your couch.
The 10.5 inch super AMOLED screen promises high quality colour display to get the most out of whatever you’re doing on the cellular tablet.
The most interesting piece of hardware in the tablet is in my opinion the quad speaker system, it promises to project sound in a true to life way which lets you listen to music as if you were at a concert or watch a movie and get immersed into it thanks to the illusion of hearing the scene around you.
The cellular 4G LTE tablet seems to have a questionable 2.9 review from 2 customer reviews, that’s something to keep in mind before considering buying this tablet.
- Qimaoo Unlocked Phone Call Phablet, 2GB RAM 32GB ROM
- 1.45 GHZ Processor, Dual Camera 2+8MP, Dual Sim Card Slots, Wifi GPS Bluetooth HD Screen Google Play
The tablet promises 1200 by 1920 resolution – this promises very rich and crisp colours – for these kinds of non-gaming tablets the colour and image quality is the single most important thing, the Amazon page promises all sorts of uses from YouTube and movies to checking your email.
The tablet supports 3G, 4G, WIFI and Bluetooth – I especially find the ability to have more than one way of using the internet important in a good product
The battery is meant to be long lasting too – personally I dislike the colour, there doesn’t seem to be any alternative so we’re stuck with the dull-white colour.
The cellular tablet stores 32GB and on top of that there is a micro SD slot letting you get more storage space.
This is definitely a casual tablet – in general that means that it’s more affordable than others, but
there is a risk that you may not be able to run the app or game you want, the cellular tablet has a
quad-core 1.45GHz CPU as well as 2GB of ram.
It promises a PC-like browser.
I would recommend this cellular tablet to an early teen or an older person – someone who doesn’t need extreme performance and cluttered screens, it’s a basic cellular tablet but it does all it needs to be of use to someone – honestly I think the rating of ~3 is actually quite fair.
5) Apple iPad Air (10.5-inch, Wi-Fi + Cellular, 64GB) – Space Grey
Quite possibly my all time favourite cellular tablet – thank to the amount of modification you can do with it, and it’s not me alone who thinks this, as evident by the 4.8 out of 5 starts provided by 69 customer reviews – you can pick from one of 3 colours, silver, gold and space grey. You can choose between a WIFI only or a WIFI and Cellular model,
Another aspect of this cellular tablet which I adore is the size – 64GB and 256GB – the amount of movies, videos, photos and apps you can keep on this device is amazing. You can also pick between iPad Air or iPad Air with smart keyboard,
Touch ID fingerprints sensor and Apple pay – two awesome feature, being able to access the tablet so easily with the press of a button – no password, no patterns to remember.
8mp back camera and 7mb front camera, that is some really good quality – in comparison some tablets I saw had 2mp.
The a 12 biotic chip lets the cellular tablet perform actions such as machine learning and fingerprint recognition.
Stereo speakers provide you with more immersive music and video experience.
That said with all the good there has to be some bad and in this case it’s clear that you are paying for what you get, regardless in conclusion I have to say that this is – in my opinion, the best cellular tablet, and it comes with a year of warranty.
