1. George Foreman Easy to Clean Indoor & Outdoor Electric BBQ (GGR300AU)

George Foreman is a brand that’s renowned for its grills. That’s why one of their BBQs snagged a spot on our list.

The grill is very convenient to use. You can use it in all sorts of settings due to its removable stand. You’ll be cooking for quite a few people too. The Foreman promises that you can cook for 15 people at once. The grill’s surface is huge. It’s 1548 cm².

It’ll also last a long time. You’re not getting a regular non-stick coating. The one on the George Foreman comes with non-stick that’s 3x more durable than regular ones.

Like our contender in the number 1 spot, the grill looks good. It’s pretty chic, which is what anyone would want. It’ll look especially great on your countertop.

It isn’t that big either, coming with 54 x 29.6 x 27 cm dimensions. The cherry on top is the fact that the device is easy to move around. It’s only 7.7 kg.

You don’t have to be an expert cook to grill food with it. If you take a look at it, you’ll see that it comes with a sloped design. Not only does it make it look better, but the slope gets rid of unwanted fat when cooking.

Of course, it’s a safe device. Its surface is George Tough Pro coated, which means it’s PFOA free. PFOA is a harmful chemical used in non-stick surfaces.

It comes with a range of cooking temperatures too. There are 5 of them, so whatever you want to cook, you can go for it!

2. Kogan Smokeless Indoor Grill

The Kogan’s dimensions are 47.3 x 35.5 x 8.7 cm. It’s one of the smaller grills on our list, letting you easily carry it around. The fact that it’s so light helps as well. The product is only 2 kg.

Grilling is great, but it produces quite a bit of smoke. This is alright if you’re grilling outdoors but so much smoke inside your home is not safe. Luckily for you, the Kogan produces much less smoke than other BBQs.

Not only does it come with a durable non-stick coat, but it has a non-scratch ceramic coating too. You can grill the stickiest foods without worrying about its surface getting ruined.

Like the George Foreman in the number 2 spot, the Kogan comes with 5 different heat settings. This is perfect for cooking all kinds of food.

As the grill is so tiny, you may be wondering if you can pop it into the dishwasher. Kogan promises that you can. The fact that it comes with a removable grease dip makes it even easier to clean. We saw such a feature in the Thermomate as well.

Unlike the Thermomate, the Kogan is very affordable. It’s one of the most budget-friendly grills on our list.

The electric BBQ comes with a drip pan too. It collects all the yummy juices produced in it. All kinds of sauces can be made with them.

You’ll never have to worry about your family’s safety. The grill is not only PFOA free but also PFOS and PTFE free as well.

3. THERMOMATE Electric Griddle Grill BBQ Hot Plate Commercial Stainless Steel

If you want the best electric grill, the Thermomate is the right one for you. For starters, it comes with a thermostat that heats it from 50-300 C. This lets you grill a range of foods. You’ll see such things in commercial kitchens.

Speaking of commercial kitchens, the grill is fit to work in such settings. This isn’t a surprise as it’s on the larger side. Its dimensions are 66.2 × 55.8 × 30.5 cms. It weighs 23.4 kg too, making it hard to carry around a house.

As it’s so big, it comes with a large cooking surface. The Thermomate boasts a 5480 ×3500 cm surface. Cooking for a large number of people has never been so easy.

Quite a few of the grills on the market are made from less-than-great materials. This isn’t what you get when purchasing the Thermomate. Its cooking surface is 304 food-grade stainless steel. Who wouldn’t want that?

The ability to cook for so many people is convenient, but what’s better is how easy the BBQ is to clean. It comes with a massive drip tray, collecting grease from its surface. You can use the drippings to make delicious sauces.

The electric BBQ looks good. It’s one of the most stylish grills we’ve ever seen. It’ll look great in a café.

Let’s not forget that the grill is a beast. It’s a 3000 W device. Handling so much electricity, you might be worried about electrocuting yourself. The Thermomate is a professional. It has an overload circuit breaker. It comes with non-slip rubber footing too, keeping it in place.

If you compare it with the others on our list, you’ll realize that it’s the most expensive one. We think it’s worth it.

4. KitchenPro 2000W 47cm Electric BBQ Grill/Teppanyaki/Non-stick Surface Hot Plate

It’s an amazing electric BBQ, being especially great for teppanyaki. Not many other grills can support this.

Unfortunately, you can’t throw it in the dishwasher. It comes with a removable drip tray, making it easier to get rid of any juices. As you know, they can be used for sauces as well.

So far, it’s the third grills that come with 5 different heat settings. This is appreciated.

Unfortunately, we aren’t told how heavy it is. If we had to guess, we’d say it’s a bit heavier than the Kogan. The KitchenPro is also a large grill. Its dimensions are 90 × 260 × 580 cm.

Compared to the Thermomate, the KitchenPro isn’t as powerful. You’re getting a 2000 W device. It is sturdier, though. There’s a thorough non-slip footing on the underside. It’s one of the sturdiest we’ve worked with.

If you need to carry the electric BBQ while it’s still hot, you can. There are handy Thermo insulated handles by its side.

We’re fans of its non-stick too. It’s pretty tough.

Did we mention the size of its cooking surface? It’s 47cm x 26.5 cm.

5. SOGA 48cm 68cm Electric BBQ Grill

Yes, it’s a bundle. You get 2 grills with your purchase. They’re both great electric BBQs but can also be used for teppanyaki like the KitchenPro.

If you take a look at their surfaces, you’ll notice a flat area as well as one with ribbing. The flat area is to regularly grill food. If you cook them in the ribbed surface, you’ll be charring them. This allows for more flavoursome meals.

Like many of the BBQs we ran through, the two SOGA grills come with drip pans. You already know how they work. However, did you know that you can use them to prevent your food from burning too? You can add liquid to them, creating a moist environment for your food to grill in.

Let’s talk about how big they are. The smaller one comes with the following dimensions, 48 × 14 × 30 cm. The larger one is 68× 14 × 30 cm across. They’re both easy to carry around too. How does 4 kg sound to you?

You’re probably wondering how many people they can cook for. The smaller electric BBQ lets you cook for 3-5 people at the same time. In terms of the larger one, 6-8 is possible.

According to SOGA, they can be used in commercial and home kitchens. Wherever they’re placed, they look very sleek.

Remember how we said that the Thermomate was a 3000 W device? Unfortunately, the two SOGA grills aren’t as powerful. They’re 1800 W each.

Each of these is an amazing electric BBQ. However, the Thermomate is the superior device. After all, it:

  • Is 3000 W
  • Can cook between 50-300 C
  • Is good-looking
  • Has a huge cooking surface

It’s pricey but worth it. In terms of the others, they’re all just good as well. If you want to save cash, go for the Kogan in our number 3 spot. It’s the cheapest grill on our list. So, which of the five will you be getting?
